My perfect day was kind of perfect because Chantel kept spending my money. We went to the Boston Bowl. I told her to bring her own money to play games and bye food, and she only brought eleven dollars. I brought twenty, so she kept asking me for money at the arcade. We played Dance Dance Revolution and apparently she never heard of it, but she wasted all of our money playing it. Then my sisters friends payed for all of us to go bowling and after that we left. That was my kind of perfect day.

My perfect day was on my birthday because I got a nintendo DS lite. I was so happy when I got it. It was my mom's friends who got me it. I was thankful when I got it. It cost $130.00 plus tax. They gave me it because they saw me always playing on my friends.

My perfect day was in the summer when I went to Florida. I went to Orlando studios. I did so much there. I went on roller coasters, I went to shows, I saw a circus, I ate my favorite snack fried dough, I saw a 3D Shrek movie and I took a picture with my family there. We were in a hotel with a pool and a hot tube so after we left Orlando studios I went to the pool and the hot tube then I declared that day the perfect.

We talked to them about why our school is so special and why they should come here, it was some of my classmates and a student from Academy 1. On my perfect day, I also got my progress report. I was so happy with the grades I got, but I know I can do much more better. On my perfect day, I was going to get my green Dell Inspiron but it is actually coming on the 21st. My perfect day was on January 9, 2008 and enjoyed it very much.

My perfect day started when i woke up on June.25,2007 and my mom came into my room in the morning.I went into the kitchen and then I ate breakfast,as soon as I was done my mom had good news.I was dieing to hear the good news. She told me that I was going to Florida for half of the summer until July 31st.I was so happy ,because I been wanting to go to Florida since November since I came back.Later that afternoon I packed my stuff made sure everything I needed was inside of my suitcase's and then me and my older sister Monica went to the Logan airport,my mom dropped us off .Then our aunt picked us up,when we was in Miami,Florida it felt brilliant because I was in my hometown. The days passed by slowly as i enjoyed my vacation.Every day I went somewhere different, but every Friday it was the same. The family would go out to eat either Apple bee's Or red lobster, then after me and my cousins and my sister would go to the mall to go shopping.Dolphin mall was gigantic. When it was July 29th,I started to cry because I wanted to stay because to me Boston was boring at the time. But when i came back i thought of my friends and though of my family. Then i thought "Oh well, ill be back later around in the year"And that was my perfect day.

My perfect day was two years ago when my family and I went to the Dominican Republic. That year the reason why we went to the Dominican Republic is because we wanted to see the elephants at the zoo but unfortunately that same year they took the elephants to another zoo. I was very disappointed because i never seen an elephant. I wasn't really that disappointed because i got to see sea snails. It was a little funny because there was a long crack on the floor with water in it and it had a lot of water snails in it. It was kind of cool actually. Also i seen an anaconda that was really really long. then we all left to the beach that was my perfect day.-It was great-

One of my perfect days is when it is time to leave our friends at the end of the school year. It might be sad to others, and it is sad to me to but it's the day when there is no classwork, homework, no test and NO DETENTION. Sometimes I will be sad about leaving the people I really care about, I always think about the girls who give me big hugs, I think about some of my homeboys who gave me dapp. This a perfect day for me because I remember the time my friends said there last goodbye!!!

Archaeologists say they've made a huge discovery in Egypt – by accident! A U.S.-based team has uncovered an ancient tomb containing five sarcophagi with mummies. The tomb was found in the Valley of the Kings outside Luxor, Egypt. This is the first tomb uncovered in the area since King Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered in 1922.

A team of archaeologists from the University of Memphis was actually working on the nearby site of a 19th Dynasty pharaoh when it made the discovery. Archaeologists found the remains of the huts of men who had worked on the tomb and a shaft leading to the tomb.

"It was a wonderful thing," said Edwin Brock, of the team that discovered the tomb. "It was just so amazing to find an intact tomb here after all the work that's been done before. This was totally unexpected."

Inside the Ancient Tomb
The tomb was found at the bottom of a 33-foot deep pit. A narrow shaft leads down another 16 feet to the tomb door, which is made of stone blocks. The tomb is thought to be about 3,000 years old. Archaeologists say it dates to the 18th Dynasty. They say it is the most important discovery of its kind in more than eighty years!

Inside the tomb are five sarcophagi with mummies. One sarcophagus has fallen and another is partly open, showing the brown cloth that covers the mummy inside. The sarcophagi have colorful funeral masks.

Researchers say the tomb is relatively bare and undecorated. The tomb’s appearance has led researchers to believe that it does not belong to a pharaoh. They say it was probably built for people connected to the royal family.

"It’s somebody who had the favor of the king because not everybody could come and make their tomb in the Valley of the Kings," said Otto Schaden, who led the U.S. team.

What's Next?
After archaeologists finish clearing debris from the shaft, they can search the tomb for hieroglyphs that identify those buried inside. The goal is to remove the sarcophagi before the weather gets too hot to work in the desert, Schaden said. High temperatures usually begin in May and mark the end of the digging season for archaeologists.
