Lyddie faces that she like a slave but she get payed. Her owners treat her like dirt and she faces that her family is poor. Lyddie faces that she work every day with no break so she can become sick. she also faces that she not with he family and she miss them and she have no mom or day to help her and she miss her little brother. So in the conflict the character had to face all those things.

The conflict that Lyddie faces is when she had to leave her family to work as a slave to provide money for her family because they were poor and also how Lyddie didn't know her father and she goes on a journey to find her father. Another conflict Lyddie comes upon is when she got sick.

The conflict that I think Lyddie faces is her family being poor, and Lyddie having to work at the Mill to earn some money. That might be considered an external conflict because it's not so much about her as it is her family. She might also struggle with the fact that she's being paid little money for many hours of work. This might be considered an internal conflict because it affects her directly.

The conflict for lyddie is that she needs to work up to 15 hours a day. That is because she needs to get some money for her family. Lyddie got sick because of the way Lyddie works and where she works. Lyddie has to work like a slave because she needs to get money for her family. Lyddie found out that this woman was a slave so Lyddie gave her all the money from the cafe because she wanted the slave to start a new life in the north. When lyddie got hit in the head in the head with a shovel she wanted to work instead of staying in bed because she wanted to get the money for her family no matter what.
Then when there was a petition to lower work hours so she didn't sigh it because she didn't want to be fired because her family really needed it. So I think all this is a external conflict.

The conflict in Lyddie was that Lyddie had to leave her family so she can to go get money. Also reuniting with her family and her little brother. I know that there are 4 different conflict and one is man vs. man and in Lyddie it is when the bear attacked the cabin in the begin of the book.this is a external conflict

The conflict that Lyddie faces in the book is when lyddie had to leave her family to work at a concord corporation and being paid more then she was getting paid at the mill. She was so sad that she had to leave her family and work off her father’s debts. And another conflict is when lyddie got sick she couldn't work for a couple of days she wanted to go to work but she couldn't even get up...

All the conflicts that Lyddie goes throgh end up pretty bad. For example if she signs the potition she could loose her job at the mill.

It's an external conflict, because since Lyddie found out that she had to work in the Mill, and be a slave, the owners was treating her bad,and making her work alot.

Nadalia Rowe 6A- A conflict that Lyddie faces is trying to gather her money to pay off her father's debt. Even though that is not her responsibility she takes it as hers though. She struggles with that because she wants her family to unite as one and not as different groups. This type of conflict is an internal conflict because that was a decision that she made . She did not have to do that. The kind of conflict is a man vs herself because she made that choice.

Lyddie faces that she like a slave that she get paid. her family is poor ands she also takes that she is getting treat badly. and she faces that she don't get to see her family that much because she don't live with them. so I think the charter had to face all those things and more and problem more than that to i read the whole book.

A conflict of Lyddie is when Lyddie had to go to work for money to help pay off the debts. When her father led off, she needed to get a job before the farm was going to get taking away. She needed to work hard for her money. She would always write to Her brother Charles and her mother to see how it was going. When Lyddie got sick she was aggravated because she wanted to work, she thought Mr. Marsden was going to kick her out, but he wasn’t because she is his favorite girl and that is Internal because she’d dealing with her own problem’s. The only reason she is working is for her family and for her father as well she loves the farm a lot!! She doesn’t want to get kicked out and she needed to put money in for the Debts so she’s working as hard as she can to make enough money to send to her mother. When they pay off their debts, Lyddie can go back to the farm unless if she wants to at the Mills. I think that is External because she is practically putting all of her effort for her family, if Lyddie wouldn’t have been working they would have got kicked out already. Lyddie is mostly doing this for her father, since her father is in the west trying to make more money for the farm!
