Justice is when you get to respond to something that has happened to you. For example, if I were a slave, I would hope for justice for freedom. I think that the kids in the book deserved justice and freedom. So far I like this book and I’m looking to read more. Hopefully someone will have justice.

Justice is freedom to have equal education and to have the same education as whites. To me it looks like that white is getting more education and have clean schools. Black schools are not good and have no heat. Blacks want to go to white schools but they can’t even make to school without getting spit at or jumped or attack.

Justice is the quality of being fair and responsible.
Justice looks like allowing all colored race black, White, Hispanic, Est. To have the same education equally. That is what justice is and looks like to me.

I think that means that blacks need to be equal. It is not fair that blacks had broken walls and stuff. The whites had white wall and it is clean to. So fair means that black and white need to be equal not blacks carry there books outside and the whites have bags outside. So that is it not fair.

I think justice is a certain behavior like if you believe in something and you go out and do it. Like how Barbra Johns didn’t believe in going to school with no heat or not enough books for every student that wasn’t fair so she made sure that the governor did something about it. Well what did she do? She got up and do what she had to do she started a boycott. Barbra and her peers refused to go to school unless they got heat and until they had enough books for every person in the school or maybe even have cleaner bathrooms.

What is justice is that after all that they been trough they got equal education, but not all black people are with whites school there’s only 9 black in whites schools. Justice in when like you’re stuck doing something you don’t want to but you have to you say that you want freedom. Or in other words be free

Justice is when you get to go back at the times when you were treated bad. You get to make changes and then you get to fix the problem that could be fair to everyone. Thats what I think justice is.

I THINK THE JUSTICE IS WHEN THE BLACK KIDS GET THE SAME THING AN EDACHED . AND IF U R GOING TO GIVE SOMEONE SOMETHING GIVE A ONE THE SAME. THAT IS WAT I THINK IS JUSTICE.

In the story witness to freedom during segregation many black students stood up for their right’s to go to a decent school. I realize that when one black person stood up a whole crowd of black people stood up. To me justice is when you treat one the same as the other and black people and white people were treated differently and black were treated unfairly and that doesn’t shows justice.

Justice is when you do something that is right and the court or who ever you’re telling the case to sees that you’re right and says yes to what you want. It’s when everybody knows that you’re being disrespected and there are witnesses like parents who say it’s not fair like the blacks having quality that is not comparable to the quality that whites had. Justice really doesn’t look like anything-it’s shown, by being fair and being equal like having everybody going outside to have fun is justice and not just letting the girls go out and the boys stay and do work when the didn’t do anything. It’s just like Witnesses to Freedom because the Supreme Court had the “justice” to have the decision to make all elementary and high schools desegregate because of how things were unequal for the blacks.

Justice is when people do something so wrong but they just don’t want to admit that they did it. Then the victims will try and take the problem to court get those criminals to jail. Then either the judge finds out or the criminal fesses up then they end up in the slammers. Justice looks sooooooooooooooo sweet because after you see the judge say your opponent is guilty you just feel so tingly inside and you have victory

To me, justice means that you should tell someone something that someone else did to you. For example, the nine black students wanted to go in the Little Rock School, but there was a crowd of white students that wouldn’t let them in. So that would mean that they would want justice because they couldn’t get their education and be treated with respect because of the color of their skin. That is what justice means to me.

Justice is when some thing that is not fair and making it fair. Like when Barbara Johns school was very cold and the white school was at the right heat every time the whites went to school. Barbara Johns changed that now there schools have the same heat every time the blacks went to school.

It likes like black people doesn’t have the same thing, as white people the black people want it the same thing as white people. Black people did’ it have no books or heat, they wanted equal thing as white people. Now they did justice they have the same thing.

Well, Justice to me means freedom for people to do what they want. An example would be when a person is going to fight for their civil rights and also because they want to be treated equally and fairly. Like in the book Witness To Freedom not all black people fought for there rights because some of them was scared. Well it looks like to me is that a person is going to do a speech about black and whites to come together to stop stagnation for the rights for black and whites.

Witness To Freedom

In the book Witness To Freedom a lot of schools where segregated because the color of there skin. Many black students where cramped up in on school and in black schools there bathrooms where dirty, there buses broke down, they didn’t have any heat and they didn’t have enough books for every student to read. In white schools they had heat, buses, enough books for every one to read and they had clean bathrooms but not in black schools it was the opposite. In the profile Little Rock Nine was the most interesting chapter I read because originally seventy-five black students registered for a Central high school and only nine students got into Central high school, but the person I thought had the most justice was Ernest Green because he still graduated Central high school even when people threatened him he has so much courage. From reading these three profiles I think justice is fighting for what you want just like in the profile Brown v. Board of Education blacks got to go to white schools so they got justice because now blacks would receive the same education as whites.

I think justice is an equal rights and fairness that every one should have because if every one in an economy believes that they have the same rights and equal opportunities as every one else things would not go wrong. For example, if someone decides to invest in a stock and the stock turns out not making their money greater but taking it that person that invested in that stock should have the right to do something about that because there rights was token from them when that stock took there money and could probably leave that person in dept and that person could have a big financial problem.

justice is when all the kids have all
the same things that the white people
have to like the books and the things in the schools and have the
same the same and when they go out
to eat for they eat with the white
people to and not in the back
thank you.

I am thinking about what I am reading in witness to freedom, I remember all these people Barbara Johns and R.R. Moton High School, the case of Brown v. Board of education, and The Little Rock Nine and what they did to make blacks have more rights, Example A: Barbara made a speech about what she did not like even if no one cared, she spoke her mined. Example B: People fought to have an equal education. Finally Example C: when 9 black stundents to get in an all white school. Anyhow to get to the real question justice to me means that when some one does something wrong they get what is come to them but fairly not because of the color of their skin of because of what they look like. Also justice looks like this well I am not sure if it has a picture because justices to me just seems to be someone getting served for what crimes that they have done.

Justice is when you want to something to change (like Witnesses to Freedom) the blacks wanted to be treated fairly, and they went to meetings and talk for there right.
Justice is change.

Justice doesn’t have to be specifically going to court and telling the judge I want this change. You need to show you want things to change like back in the day they would make a boycott or march to show what they wanted to change.

Cairo has a lot of comparisons to Dorchester but like...um...uh...its a community. And the contrast is Dorchester is not poor like Cairo's slums. And if you think Dorchester is poor than you never lived there as long as I did. Or you got major problems.
