One scene from part 3 of Maniac Magee is when Russell and Piper were playing “Bombs Away”. They were playing at the trestle and Piper almost drowned and Russell was stuck at the middle of it with the water and mud around him and he was frozen in shock. Maniac and Mars Bar was running block after block when they saw Piper covered in mud yelling at Maniac to help Russell. When they got to the platform, as Piper was pointing to Russell, Maniac just stared at Russell while Piper is yelling at him. Maniac ran down stairs and went to the buffalo pen because he had no home. When Mars Bar found him he was still awake in the middle of the night, smelling like buffalo. Mars Bar asked him to come to his house and as they were walking Mars asked why did he run away.
Maniac said that when he was little he was raised to stay away from the trestle and that he never was this close to it before. What I liked about the book was the action.

I like the scene where it was cold and Maniac saw these two boys, they started fighting. Then the boys showed Maniac some candy that they had. Then one of the boys said that they stole it. Then they started fighting again. What I like about this book is that it was a teenager’s point of the story, so I can relate to it. What I don’t like are his grandparents because they don’t talk to each other. The story would have been way better if they did talk. That’s just what I think. Before I even opened the book, I made a text-to-text connection. On the cover of Maniac Magee the boy’s shoes looked like he had those shoes for the longest while. On the cover of jip, He looked like he was extremely poor.

What I like most about Maniac Magee is that he can be trusted and that he is a good friend and person. Plus he can keep this balanced with all the sports that he is getting into. I don’t think that there is any thing that I dislike about Maniac Magee. This book reminds me of one of the books that I have read before called A Sudden Silence.

I think that Jerry is a man and he likes to read and writes books. Maniac Magee she is a maniac and she likes to do everything and stuff. There was a person that talks to Magee and she had a normal life this time. Someone stop and talk to her and it was Amanda she likes Magee but she don’t like Amanda too. They was kind of best friend but no they not a little. I like about this book is when someone meet Magee it was Amanda. I don’t think so.

The part in Maniac Magee that I liked in the book was when Jeffrey was when he found a house. He lived in the house that he had found. The house was a bit old but it was a house fort him to live in.

A scene from Jerry Spinellis's Maniac Magee was when Russell fell in the water. When Russell and piper were playing bombs away and mistaken fell in the water and piper ran for help and he saw maniac and mars bar. Piper told them and they were all running to the river to help Russell out the water. The part that I liked more was when Amanda and mars bars snuck out at night to the zoo to maniac to tell him to come home with them and when Amanda told him you do not have a choice I’m not asking you I’m telling you. You are coming home with me in chapter 46 page 183. The part I did not like was when Grayson died that made me very mad and I didn’t wanted to read the book it also made me cry after all the fun and the good tines they had and he died in his sleep that was very sad. This book is not similar to any other book I read I think.

I can describe the McNabs house like this, a dirty house with a humungous hole I the ceiling so big that two young children can fit through it. And kitchens so nasty that a rodent would not even eat in it. A white family living there or trying to survive there the smell is so nasty like they use the whole house as a public use bathroom. I like Maniac Magee because it is a very realistic story because how they use the people’s personalities are so real because I know a little six year old girl who acts just like Russell and he takes a little advantage when something has to do with her. Because at Russell’s birthday party he started to become rude and mean and Bossy because it had to do with him.

The mostly liked Maniac Magee when he lived with Amanda and her family because when he use to live with his Aunt and Uncle, they didn’t really get along because they wouldn’t share anything t all and Maniac (Jeffery Lionel Magee) but when he ran off the stage and ran into Two Mills and moved in with Amanda, he felt happy because he had a address and a home…. but the least thing I did not like about Maniac Magee is that some people told him to back to where he belonged. This book is similar to this movie that I saw on TV a few weeks ago because the movie was about this girl that ran a way from home and she lived with a white family and the police men would threaten her and so would everyone else in the neighborhood and Maniac is similar because Jeffery ran a way and lived with Amanda’s family for a few weeks and people/kids would tell maniac to go back where he came from or to go home.

My favorite scene from part three in Maniac Magee was when Maniac moved back in with the Beale’s family. Okay so this is what happens Maniac was in the zoo sleeping in the buffalo pen when he felt someone or something biting his ear. So he wakes up and finds Amanda Beale biting his ear. Then she says come on lets go and Maniac said where, where are we going. She said home and Maniac said I don’t have a home than he Amanda said just come on home and he left the zoo and lived with the Beale’s. The thing I liked most about him is he never gave up even when his parents died he didn’t let that bring him down he just kept living his life. The thing I like least about him is when someone offer him a home he always ran away. Also this book doesn’t remind me of any books/movie I have read or watched.

I didn’t really enjoy reading Manic Magee because I still don’t get why he was such a legend. What I like a bout Manic Magee is that people looked up to him and admired him. A scene from Manic Magee is when the two brother dare Manic to go to finster place and stood in his backyard.

I don't like when the kids bully him. And the part I do like his that he can run fast. An the other Reason way I don't like it because when his mother an father die people made fun of him. An I did not see a movie like this or read a book like this.

A scene that I liked from Maniac Magee part three was when Maniac moved back in with the Beale’s because I know that family will treat him right and will care for him just like they did before he ran away. What I didn’t like about the book Maniac Magee was that Jeffrey never had a stable home and I say this because every kid should have a stable home a family to come home to a shelter over your head. This book relates to the book Bridge To Terabithia for me because the character Jess likes to run in that book and in Maniac Magee Jeffrey likes to run also.

The scene I liked in maniac Magee was when him an Thompson was at the party an Thompson kept on following maniac were every he went and I like the scene when Russell an piper played near the river an Russell fell in the river. Then maniac had to save him from the river.
I like that maniac played football and he was fast that why they called him maniac Magee he was the fastest. I liked that he helps people. Maniac had run away from his aunt an uncle a he lived in a house by himself. I didn’t like that his parents gave him away so he lived in a dump I did not like that I is sad being a kid getting away from your parents.
This book is similar Jip because Jip lived at a poor farm a maniac Magee lived in a dump but Jip mom gave him away a maniac Magee parents gave him away. I don’t like books that kids parents gave them away a you don’t know your parents. That is sad not seeing your parents forever.

What I like about this book maniac Magee is that it shows action and it gives you things to think about like oh what might happen next or hurry hurry up flip the page things like that gets you acceded. And make you start liking the book because the action is making the book acited for people that read the book. Some of the chapters has to do with him getting thrusting because this book that this girl gave him he needed it so the boys came up to him and said. Give me that book or I will beet you up so he didn’t want to so he ran and things like that is action and makes you wont to read wont to keep reading.
And if you was to read the front cover you wouldn’t want to wait to read the story because the front of the book shows kind of action like his feet speeding and running like he is running from somebody.

A day on the job, imagine that you mummify Egyptians, using your 5 senses (sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell), describe the process as you are mummifying a famous Pharaoh.

I would not like to mummify Egyptians. I would not because that’s nasty. If I was one of them ill throw up!!! And I the seeing a lot of blood. I would not like to be one because for me is not a smart thing to do. Also if I do that when is my time to eat ill think ill eat rotten eggs.
When I will be sleeping a t night I will hear thing that aim not suppose to be hearing. Would also dream with weird things. I would be really scared and horrified to mummify someone. If I were a mummify and I see all those things I will fall down and die with her/him. I will because air cannot see that entire thing together. I think that the will be the last thing that I will do in my life. I prefer to die inserted of being a mummifying.
