The part of Barbara Jones story I found inspirational was when she lead a boycott and her parents said that she would be in a lot o danger but she lead it anyway and that shows me that when you want something don’t give up unless you get it and when you get it to be confident about your choice.

Barbra Jones inspires me because she thought that she should speak up and say what is right, like the time she didn't want the school to be dirty because the school was an unsafe environment. But it couldn't happen because the teachers didn't care so she asked her parents to do something about it because she was tired of being treated that way. She didn't get what she wanted but she did speak up for her rights.

This story inspired me by telling me how hard it was to get the civil rights that black people deserved so long ago.If black people were treated like wight people after slavery times then so many black people would never have died or gotten hurt fighting for there civil rights!

The part of Barbra Jones story that inspired me the most is when the Ku Klux Klan burned a cross on their lawn to stop the boycott, but the student from R.R. Moton High School continued for another two weeks. They also filed a lawsuit so Black and White students can go to the same school. But the most inspiring thing is that their boycott for equality in schools got around to every one all around the country.

The part that I found inspirational was the part when she was so cool that she will put her life in danger for her and her family and her schoolmates. She made black people look so much sophisticated. Than other because she went by this in a whole new outlook. Barbra liked the school but she did not like the thing that was happening. On page 4 first sentence she states that. She did not like that the other white school had heat t show that she made a change I the society

An inspiration in my life is my mom because when I am mad she always take the time to listen to me for example when I got in trouble in the fifth grade she listened to my side of the story to. Another reason why I told her is because she says that I can always tell her anything. I also chose my mom because I look up to her. Those are some reasons why I chose my mom.

The part I found inspirational was that Barbara Jones was that she was trying to gather the teachers to help get freedom and because of the schools. The black school looked like a dump and no heat. The white school was ice and neat with heat. The teachers did not want to help Barbara so she went to her parents. Also Barbara was a brave women and fought for civil rights. “On April 23,1951 the students marched out of the school, led by Barbara Jones.”

The part in Barbara Jones story that I found inspiring was when she was doing the speech in the auditorium. The reason why I think that was inspiring because she was right about the poor condition because it isn’t right that the white people have condition but the black people didn’t. Also when she said that they should have new desks and new books like the white people do.

The part that i found inspirational about Barbara Jones is that she stood for what she Believed that wasn't right with the schools she though that the whites were being treated better then the blacks. so she started a boycott to see if she can stop from whites using a nicer school then the blacks did and not be segregated and become Integrated.

The part of the story that I thought was inspirational was when she boycotted about the conditions in the school, she did something about it, and it was not fair that the white kids got the neat books and they got heat and the black kids didn’t. Barbara took a stand she tried to tell the principal about the conditions, but the people wouldn’t listen to her, but she didn’t care, she fought until they listened to her, and conditions were changed.

What I found inspirational is Barbara Jones wanted to stop the segregation of her schools. The white schools were clean and warm, while the black schools were dirty and freezing. She told her parents to help her about that problem. She wanted to fix up her school, but they didn’t care because their skin color. They thought black people were different, because of their skin color. People took that offensive. I find that inspirational because she wanted to solve a problem, and she didn’t care how long it will take her the city officials ignored her. Barbara wanted to get a good education, she had dreams of her own. She just wanted to show black people deserve respect as much as white people get respect! She inspired me a lot because she tried a lot, and gathered a community to change one law. Years later, it ended up happening. She became a former teacher Philadelphia, Pennslavania after her death. She is a good romodel =]

The inspiration in Barbara Jones is
the she is the first young lady to walk in an all white school she was brave enough to walk in an all white school. The second is that she started to do a protest in the auditorium with the R.R Moton school she talk about how dirty her school is. That’s the inspiration that I found in this book.

I found inspiration in it because Barbara took action because whites didn’t want anything to do with blacks. When the white school secretary heard the students heard that they were not coming to school until the heat was in the school, they get new books for all the classes they were upset. But Barbara when Barbara told the students about not going to school they agreed to it. But then they need to go to school because the school secretary wanted them to. But Barbara had another idea.
She told the students they were just going to walk out during school. That way they would still be heard. In may 1951 the black schools got what they wanted. They go heat, new books for all the classes. So it was done by Barbara Jones.

The part that I found inspirational was when she wanted to stop races and help out her school, she asked her self “ how could the black students receive a good education when they where treated unfairly”. She wanted to help out her school by going every day to the town meetings to talk about the conditions at the school and how they had no heat that it was cold in there and eat got worse in winter. She “ she was aught that the color of ones skin, black or white, did not matter every U.S. citizen had the rights to be treated fairly”, and I agree I think she was a great person by trying to help out her school and every that was treated unfairly. ( pg.2-5).

I say it was inspirational when Barbara did a boycott and she wanted to change things for the people who did not have any respect for others. And it was inspirational because the more she fights and fights the more people have second thoughts about the things they are doing to harm the world.

One part in Witnesses to freedom that inspired me was how those people would be able to hart others over color. I think that it is childish if they say a black paper would they rip it up.The second thing that inspired me was how could they just take those bad and despicable hits and don't try to fight back.It was hard to know that if it wasn't for M.L.K and some others we would still be in that bad races life.

Barbra Jones is inspirational to me because when Barbra decide she had enough and she was tired of going to school with no heat, no stoles, not enough books or teacher to teach students she started a boycott she lied to the principles and staff so her voice can be heard Barbra was brave for what she did and how she did it. Even though Barbra’s parents told her this wasn’t a good idea she still took the chance to get a better education.

The part that find me inspiration was when Barbera got on stage and talked about the poor conditions at R.R. Moton High School. The told the students that they must do something about them and many students agreed with her. Getting on stage by your self and like 200 people looking at you i know that is inspirational.

The part of Barbra Jones story I found inspirational was when she called the principal and told her two kids need a ride can you pick them up and she called an assembly for all students to go to the auditorium. When all the students arrived she was on stage and I would be very afraid to be on stage in front of the whole student body and talked about changes they need to make in the R.R. Moton School because she wanted all the things that white schools had in it. She was always in a cold classroom and it wasn’t fair that white schools got to have heat and she wanted heat in her school and clean bathrooms she thought that they should protest and the R.R. Moton school should really change, because in her environment it was hard for her to learn and other students as well.

The part I found inspirational was when Barbara Jones tried to make the schools better. Barbara Jones was trying to gather the kids and teachers to help get freedom to get the right education and because of the schools. The black school looked like trash and they had no heat. The white school was clean and neat and they had heat. The teachers did not want to help Barbara so she went to her parents. Also Barbara was a brave woman and fought for civil rights. Barbara fought to make the school clean like the white people school. They had clean bathrooms.

The part that I found inspirational about Barbara Jones is that she stood up and believed that there was something to be done about her school. She also believed that whites and blacks should come together and be treated equally, she also thinks that all whites was treated more better then the blacks. Barbara Johns started a boycott to see if she can do something about blacks and whites to come together. Will I am going to say is that back then they had rules that I would not fallow because blacks and white a are just the same people but just different skin color people should not judge people by the why they are

I think that she as on the stage and then she was telling about we need to be equal to the others. On pages 7 the blacks all gathered altogether and Barbara was all talking to all the blacks that it is not equal and it is not fair too. Why that it have to happen in the world? If it was not for the people that stood up for the rights then this is going on. For instance [Martin, Rosa Parks, and Barbara John then this will be happening right now.

The part I found inspirational was when Barbara and her classmates organize a boycott I found that really inspirational because you must be really brave to stand up and do something like that when your young. They really set a good example for young people who want to change something in the world. Their parents and teachers didn’t want them to do the boycott because it could be dangerous. I also think she was brave because she did not give up.

The part of Barbara Jones story that I find inspirational is when she call and lie to her principal that someone had to be peek up. I find that inspirational because it takes real heart and guts to do something like that and she did not care about getting in trouble or what her parent will say. She fought what she believes in and flowed her heart. I also find that inspirational because I can not even do some thing like that if I did I wont be alive to tell my story I would be in a lot of trouble.

The part of Barbara Jones story I found inspirational to me was when she lead a boycott so that her school could have nice stuff like eat, and better books. The other inspirational thing that she did is when she spoke up and wasn’t afraid to do what she did.

What I find inspirational in Barbara Jones story is when she decided to stand up for her rights by doing what she thought was best so that she can have a better school than she has. By doing these events Barbara took a stand and told the principle that there were students at a bus stop that needed help getting to school. So the principle left the school to go and help the students in need. Then Barbara went on from there by sending out fake notes to all the teachers saying there is an assembly in the auditorium so when all the classes were there she gave them a speech saying they need to boycott school so every one stop going to school. I think that Barbara had to have a lot of heart to do what she did for the kids in schools

It help me because she stood up 4 wit
is gud wit her people. An her school.an she want her voice to be hard. So she stared a boycott so they want go to school

What I found inspirational was that Barbara as a little girl she stood for what she believes and she believed that they wasn’t being educated fairly. It was also inspirational that she got a lot of guts to tell a principal that there were kids in the station, so the principal go get the kids and she calls everyone to the auditorium, so can give a speech, that takes a lot of guts. I can tell that Barbara has a lot of guts because not only did she made a speech to try to change her school, she also lead the boycott. This tell me Barbara cares about her being educated fairly, Barbara didn’t like the way that the black people had dirty bathrooms, no heat I the school, and that there wasn’t that much books for everyone. On the other side the whites had a clean bathroom, lots of books, and heat in there school. She knew she had to do something about that.

The part of Barbara Jones story I found inspirational was when she led a boycott, even though her parent said not too, she still led the boycott.Another thing I found inspirational was when she had stood up for her things in school. She had stood up for her community. The people that she looked up for.

The part of Barbra Jones story that I found inspirational was the part when she boycotted the school with her classmates so that they can get the same education as the white school does and the school condition too. The school conditions were poor they had to share textbooks and they had no cafeteria. I also found inspirational, the part when she stood up in front of her school community so that she could point out the things that are wrong with the school. 1. I found that part inspirational because she did what she thought was right. 2. I found that part inspirational because of the way she was brave she had the guts do tell the principal a little white lie to get him out the building so she can do her speech.

The way she inspired me is how she lead her own fight for her and others rights no matter what her parents or anyone else said about it. She also made me learn that you can actually trick your principal in order to get your point across to the whole school about something you have to inform the fellow students about(not like I am going to do it I was just saying I did not have an idea about that). She is also inspiring because she went through all of the struggle and still made it to graduate high school and she is still successful . But I have a question is she only successful for making history did she make money off of it? Is there still hatred between races here in Boston?

Barbara Johns story was inspirational to me because s=when she went on the stage and told her whole school that they should do a boycott because she didn’t like the way that they were being treated. Like for example, when Barbara was wearing her jacket and she was still cold which men that there was no heat and how they had tore up books and how the books had missing pages.

The inspiration of Barbara Jones was when she was a kid she lead a boycott and her parents said she was in danger she lead it anyway she was trying to gather the teachers to help their freedom. On April 23, 1951 the schools students march of the school. Her parents tell her she has to march to her uncle in Alabama That’s the part that inspired me.

I found the story on Barbara Jones inspiration because of what she believed. An example of what she did was on pages 4-9, when Barbara Johns walked across that stage proudly and not ashamed of what she was going to do. When she got to the stage she gave a speech about how messed up the school was like hoe the school was cold, it was small and how the books were torn. That was inspirational to me because it showed that she was not scared of anyone well she was not scared to tell how it is. It also inspired me because Barbara could have gone to jail, and even though so ignorant people burning a cross her house as a warning, she still did not give up. All I have to say is you go girl, you show theme who’s boss.

What Barbara Jones did that was inspirational is when she called her principle just to get he/she out of the way. That was one of the things that I thought was inspirational. Now when she sent a message to all of the teachers to bring their students to the auditorium and then give a speech that is pretty brave. She wasn’t thinking about herself she was thinking about her teachers and her schoolmates. That was inspirational to me.

The part of Barbara Jones story that I found inspirational was when she went to the school and sat there and didn’t let the white people aggravate her to make it seem like black are bad people until a white lady helps her to her bus

This story was amazing I really liked it because it was so interesting it was not boring it was so cool I was very into it.

The part that inspired me in this story was when she was on the bus and the bus driver said she should get up but she didn’t. I thought that, that was brave of her and I’m happy she was standing up for her rights. I think that she shouldn’t be embarrassed to stand up for her rights.

Barbara Jones was a high school student who was tired of her school’s very poor conditions. So she and her fellow students devised a boycott in the hopes of improving her schools condition. What I find inspiring about her was the fact that she stood up for what she believed in. also because she wasn’t worried about what the consequences of her actions she was too motivated to improve her school.
